Food from Okanagan Gleaners has been distributed in:
Eswatini, Angola, Lesotho, Ukraine, Fiji, Jamaica, Venezuela, Belize, Solomon Islands, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Philippines, Burundi, Ethiopia, Guyana, Honduras.Pakistan, Cuba, and El Salvador.
We donate dried foods to well-established relief organizations such as Food for the Poor Canada, Samaritan’s Purse, Canadian Food For Children, Food for Hungry Canada, Global Emergency Mission Society, Partners with Others, and Heart For Africa Canada. Okanagan Gleaners expects an accounting from accredited distributors that the product has arrived at its destination in good condition and has been properly distributed.
We have also given fresh produce to local soup kitchens, food banks and street ministries when available.
